Medacs Healthcare are seeking Staff Nurses to join an Oncology Unit in Central London. The busy unit sees patients undergoing surgical (particularly breast and maxilliofacial), medical or diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.

Bupa Home Healthcare is currently recruiting for a challenging Oncology Nursing Manager Position in the Bournemouth area. This is a community based position; therefore a full driving license is essential.
 
We are looking for Nurses who will work closely with Oncology patients to provide a range of cancer treatments including various Chemotherapy and other cytotoixic regimes. You will work from patient’s homes to provide a high standard of tailored care to meet their individual needs.
 
The Job:
·       You will work from patients homes, giving you the opportunity to provide hands on patient care and build lasting relationships with patients and their families
·       Conducting all health checks, checking blood results, administering Chemotherapy drugs and monitoring patient progress
·       You will educate and inform patients on their condition, their treatments and possible side effects
·       Autonomous role – You have the flexibility to manage your own work load in accordance with the priorities of the role.
·       Liaising with consults from NHS trusts to give full up-dates on patients and work closely with them to identify other potential patients for home Healthcare services
·       As the service grows you will assist the lead Nurse in recruiting and then managing your own team.
 
 
The Skills:
·       Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC pin
·       Oncology experience or a related qualification
·       Previous experience of administering Chemotherapy
·       Ability to communicate with all parties involved including clients, client families, consultants and the wider Nursing team
·       Full driving license. You must be flexible to travel to patients homes
