After the successful completion of the Burn, Neonatal Surgery and Education Centre in 2007/8 a number of significant capital projects began in 2008/09. These projects included a Clinical Research Facility, CAMHS External Play Unit, Extended Liver Ward, Inherited Metabolic Disorders Unit, Renal Unit, Teenage Cancer Trust Unit and a Ronald McDonald House (parent & family accommodation).
