A Service based in the Berkshire area requires tier 3 substance misuse team leader to join their busy team. Experience in substance misuse nursing is essential, experience in management would be of benefit.

On a day to day basis the successful candidate will assess, plan, implement and evaluate structured treatment programs for individual clients in accordance with agreed quality practices and procedures. Additionally the successful candidate will manage a team of substance misuse practitioners and nurses on a daily basis and provide advice and support for staff who are directly involved with treatment work.This role provides a good opportunity to gain valid experience and training; there is also a possibility of contract extensions and permanent contracts.

Essential for this role is prior nursing experience within a substance misuse environment. The candidate will be either a band 6 or band 5 Nurse who is able to work under their own initiative with a strong team character; current prison clearance would be advantageous for the right candidate, as will past experience working with IDTS, however, these are not essential and a strong substance misuse background would also be advantageous for the role.

Day to Day the role will involve ongoing assessments, developing care plans and case management as well as working with challenging behaviour, enduring mental health disorders and key working. You will manage a case load of around 20 IDTS clients on a continuous basis and liaising with the relevant agency in continuing to offer care to your clients. You will also be responsible for acting up in the team managers absence and attending relevant inter-agency meetings about the ongoing delivery of the IDTS program.

The working hours of this role are full time and cover 7 days per week. The ongoing development of the service and the role itself presents the opportunity for the right candidate to develop a range of mental health skills working in a challenging criminal justice environment. My client, a small care provider of nursing homes, is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for its nursing home in Edgbaston, Birmingham. This role is full time with varied shift patterns.

As a Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the home.
Your duties will include delivering high standards of care to the residents at all times marketing the home to the local area to ensure maximum bed occupancy staffing duties such as rotaring, recruitment and training and development and other duties as required.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse (RNLD). You will have a minimum of three years experience of managing a nursing home.

We are currently looking for a registered nurse (RMN or RGN) to working weekends within a local prison. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with Methadone and / or Methasoft and have a couple of years experience in nursing. The hours of work are Saturday and Sunday 7am to 12 noon working 3 weekends out of 4.

A service in the Surrey area require a qualified nurse (RMN, RGN or Dual Qualified) who is experienced in working with clients who have substance misuse issues. Experience in having worked in a substance misuse team is essential, experience in having working in a detox team is of benefit.

On a day to day basis the successful candidate will be carrying a caseload of clients who have a variety of substance misuse issues. You will be carrying out assessments, care plans, running some therapy groups, managing the clients medication, titration and relapse prevention work. There is the possibility of contract extension and permanent positions for a suitable candidate.

We are currently looking for a registered nurse (RMN or RGN) to work 2 or 3 days per month providing immunisations for NHS trusts in the Suffolk Area. The successful candidate must be nurse qualified and hold a valid NMC (or equivalent) registration. The hours of work are flexible to suit the candidates requirements and the contract is expected to last for a minimum of 12 months.
