Occupational Health advisor

We’re currently seeking an Occupational Health advisor to join our busy team in Docklands, London. Your role will be to provide a comprehensive and pro-active Occupational Health advice service, promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees, and ensure customer compliance to legislation. You will also provide advice to customers on health related issues affecting work. You will develop and lead on safe and competent practice.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Work as part of a multi-functional team both internally and externally
·         Work closely with OH Physicians
·         Accurately record and interpret data ensuring that it meets best practice standards to support clients’ decision making.
·         Produce clear and concise reports in a timely manner
·         Plan and deliver health promotion and health education to clients addressing key lifestyle issues i.e. stress, smoking, weight etc
·         Ensure all Occupational Health services are delivered as defined in Wellness quality standards and the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
·         Provide clinical support and direction to customers as required
·         Carry out Clinical and Risk assessments
·         Offer business travel health advice and vaccination
·         Provide rehabilitation and disability management
 
Skills & Previous Experience Required:
 
·         Post registration qualification in OH Nursing
·         Experience in an OH setting
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
·         Commercial Awareness
·         IT Skills
·         Project Management skills
