We are currently looking for Community Staff Nurses to join our Flexible Nursing Team [FNT]. This is a bank role working a minimum of 4 hours per month. This particular package is a community based role working with patients with critical care needs. You’ll plan client centred care according to their needs including aspects of health promotion. You’ll respect our client’s dignity, wishes and beliefs and involve them in decisions to care being undertaken.
Specific Skills
- Registered General Nurse qualification
- Experience in managing patients with complex care needs
- Experienced with working with patients on Ventilators and with Tracheotomy’s
- Experience with Cannulation
- Confident in IV drug administration and general therapies
- Desirable experience managing PEG, connecting and disconnecting HPN
- Previous management experience or supervisory/mentoring experience desirable
- Preferable community experience but all backgrounds considered as we will provide you with excellent education, training and development and other rewards which are everything you would expect from a pioneer in home healthcare
- Ability to communicate with client, client’s family and a range of health and care professional
- Flexibility a must. Car owner drivers essential
