As an experienced and skilled Radiographer You will be working full time hours, providing a high quality of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and a high standard of patient care.

The successful Senior 1 Radiographer will need good post grad experience in Radiographic techniques, CT Scanning and a HPC registration, a post graduate CT qualification is desirable.

As a key member of the team, you will be liaising with other Radiologists to ensure a consistent level of quality throughout the department is followed, as well as liaising with your team, you will be actively involved and in communication with patients, consultants and nurses to ensure a close knit and personal yet professional service is carried out, you will show a courteous and caring approach to the role. In consequence, you will provide a high quality scanning service within the modernised and comprehensive imaging department.

The Senior Radiographer role will involve a range of duties within the X-ray department, you will be monitoring and ordering stocks and supplies, performing
Dexa scanning and assisting with management of Dexa service, meeting and preparing patients for ultrasound examinations, and carry out or assist with the Mammography service, if trained. You may also be required to deputize for the Radiology Manager in their absence.

Senior Radiographer Requirements
-BSc in Radiography, DCR or equivalent
-HPC Registration
-Mammography Certificate preferable
-Demonstrate training and experience in a range of X-ray examinations
-Evidence of CPD
-Must be highly motivated and able to prioritise workload
