Job Summary
 
This is a great opportunity to join our successful business development team. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage existing business as well as generating and converting new opportunities. In this role you will be expected to operate at a strategic level in order to deliver and exceed financial objectives set by the Regional Director.   
 
Key Responsibilities
 

    * To identify and create financially viable business cases for new opportunities within your territory and write business proposals for new and existing business in line with the overall strategy of the organisation.
    * To identify, analyse and report on key areas as per business strategy for your territory.
    * Contribute towards a Regional business plan that reflects attainment of territory business goals and company objectives.
    * Appropriately match product/service to customer needs through demonstration of specific Service benefits.
    * Build up a sound knowledge of competitor strengths and weaknesses (both company and product) as defined in training manuals.
    * Accurately identify decision-making process per account and all influencing parties and their role.
    * Building and establishing relationships in order to influence and succeed in complex negotiations, through demonstrating sound commercial knowledge.
    * Keeping abreast of changing market needs and ensuring that these match with BUPA Home Healthcare competencies.

Specific Skills
 

    * You’ll be of graduate calibre.
    * An articulate individual, Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
    * Sales experience with a proven track record in working alongside the NHS, within a hospital or community environment.
    * You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the UK healthcare market and a clear ability to understand the business dynamics of the Bupa business, its products and services
    * Experience and understanding of NHS tenders, contracts and framework agreements.
    * Sales experience in Homecare preferred but not essential.
    * Ability to look for new business whilst managing existing business.
    * Computer literate with working knowledge of various MS packages.
    * Ability to work on your own initiative.

This specialist service in Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire assesses, treats and provides seamless care pathways for adolescents and young people under the age of twenty five with eating disorders. There is a fantastic team of professionals that work together in this service to ensure that a full recovery is achieved for each patient.

We are searching for a Registered Dietician (BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics / MSc in Dietetics) who has a strong background in clinical dietetic interventions ideally working with people with Eating Disorders / Mental Health. The chosen Dietician will have a sound understanding of the NSF in Mental Health and will have a good knowledge and experience working with Child Protection issues.

As the dedicated Dietician you will be the dietetic lead within the Multi-Disciplinary Team assessing each service user and devising, implementing and evaluating bespoke care plans and changing them accordingly to their status.

Due to the High Needs and High Risk residents within this service a caring and compassionate Dietician who has the ability to influence, persuade and facilitate is required. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for this role along with the ability to work / liaise within a MDT, but not be afraid to use own initiative and work alone.

Duties of the Sterile Services Technician
-Rigorously check, wash, lay-up and pack sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
-Operate and monitor machines and equipment safely and effectively
-Ensure faulty or repaired instruments are dealt with appropriately.
-Manual dexterity and the ability to use complex equipment for example, including disassembly, inspection, decontamination, packaging and sterilisation of surgical instrumentation to predetermined standards.
-Daily testing of Autoclaves and washers/disinfectors and related equipment.
-Good knowledge of all surgical instruments and identify trays used.
-Assembling instruments and checking for safety and correct function in accordance with departmental procedures, specifications and best practice.
-Comply with health and safety guidelines.
-Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
-Continuous Professional Development remains a priority.

The successful Sterile Services Technicians will need at least 2 years experience working within UK hospitals and hold a valid CRB certificate along with Hep B immunisations. This role requires a confident individual with excellent communication skills and a dedicated approach to work.
