Full NMC registration with post registration experience within paediatrics

A range of grades are available so we welcome applications from nurses who are either currently working in PICU or from those wishing to develop their career within PICU.

Providing care for critically ill children on a modern unit of 18 beds.

Our client is looking to recruit a band 7 Sister, in the paediatric intensive care unit. As a band 7 you will participate in providing clinical care for critically ill children, both 'hands on', and by managing the service on a daily basis ensuring efficient and effective use of nursing resources, and supporting the nurses at the bedside to provide the best possible care to our patients and their families.

You will also be expected to participate in staff training to ensure that the excellent quality of care provided to their patients evolves at a high level. If communication is one of your key strengths, we would be keen to hear from you.

Staff on the ward and the specialist nursing liason teams work closely together to provide a seamless service for the children and families in care.
You will be encouraged to persue your own career developement and lead within your specialist subjects within the ICU specialties, developing the service for the future. This will provide the motivated candidate with many opportunities to excel.
