We are looking for Nurses who will work closely with Oncology patients to provide a range of cancer treatments including various Chemotherapy and other cytotoixic regimes. You will work from patient’s homes to provide a high standard of tailored care to meet their individual needs.
 
The Job:
·       You will work from patients homes, giving you the opportunity to provide hands on patient care and build lasting relationships with patients and their families
·       Conducting all health checks, checking blood results, administering Chemotherapy drugs and monitoring patient progress
·       You will educate and inform patients on their condition, their treatments and possible side effects
·       Autonomous role – You have the flexibility to manage your own work load in accordance with the priorities of the role.
·       Liaising with consults from NHS trusts to give full up-dates on patients and work closely with them to identify other potential patients for home Healthcare services
·       As the service grows you will assist the lead Nurse in recruiting and then managing your own team.
 
 
The Skills:
·       Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC pin
·       Oncology experience or a related qualification
·       Previous experience of administering Chemotherapy
·       Ability to communicate with all parties involved including clients, client families, consultants and the wider Nursing team
·       Full driving license. You must be flexible to travel to patients homes

Key Responsibilities:
