We are looking for experienced support workers for ongoing work with individual service users in a domiciliary setting.

The work will be based in the south Manchester area, and will include driving to activities within the locality - usually within a ten mile radius, but on occasions will be further afield (mileage rates will be paid).

This can range from supporting to appointments, assisting with shopping and paying bills, and activities out in the community.

Because you will be assisting service users to access the community, it is essential that you have your own transport and evidence of type 2 business insurance.

Good knowledge of the local area and activities available to engage the service user is highly advantageous.

You will need to be available for 12 - 18 hours per week between the hours of 10am - 4pm on weekdays (occasional weekends may be required in future).

Support workers should be experienced in domiciliary / home care support work as this is an entry requirement to our four day induction course.
NVQ Level 3 preferred and immediate start preferred - although notice periods will be considered for the right candidates.

Chrysalis Homecare are seeking to recruit an experienced Support worker with own transport (and evidence of type 2 business insurance) for care packages with individual service users in the Manchester, Trafford and some Salford areas. Specifically including Timperley, Stretford, Sale, Flixton, Urmston, Withington, Fallowfield, Clayton, Wythenshaw and Worsley.

This can range from supporting to appointments, assisting with shopping and paying bills, and activities out in the community. Service users have varying care needs and so in addition applications are welcome from complex needs support workers and senior domiciliary care workers.

Rates of pay between £7 - 10 per hour, dependant on duties and hours worked. Part time to full time hours available.

Support workers should be experienced in domiciliary / home care support work as this is an entry requirement to our four day induction course.

NVQ Level 3 preferred and immediate start preferred - although notice periods will be considered for the right candidates. Candidates preferred with flexibility toward their working hours. Candidates should be required to work every other weekend.

A service in the Somerset area are looking for an experienced substance misuse worker to fill an exciting vacancy for one of their services. Experience in having worked within substance misuse is essential, experience in floating support and aftercare is of benefit.

On a day to day basis the successful candidate will be completing comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, one to one support work and other tasks. The majority of the work you will be completing will be support and aftercare and therefore experience in this field would be beneficial. The candidate will be expected to work independently and manage their own caseload so experience in having done this would be of benefit.
