Bupa Home Healthcare is recruiting for exciting Community based healthcare support workers. This is a community based role covering the Alton and Liphook area so a full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
You will work from patient’s homes, providing a range of children and their families with clinical and healthcare support. Our patients range from infants to young adults so you must be comfortable to work with children of all ages. We provide on-going care to families 24 hours a day so you must be flexible to work night and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
· Delivering quality care for patients, respecting their dignity and wishes
· Ensuring patient comfort and safety
· Empathising with patients and their families, providing support and information
· Maintaining accurate patient records and liaising with the wider Nursing team
· Interacting and communication with patients and their families
· Prioritise the requirements of the role during each shift
Skills:
· Ability to communication with a range of different people
· Previous experience in a care environment is beneficial.
· Attention to detail
· Organisation and time management skills
· Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
· Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
