My client, a well respected provider of mental health services to working age adults in the Gloucestershire area, is currently recruiting for a Psychologist.
As Psychologist, you will provide a pro-active psychology support service for all company clients, ensuring that the company meets all its responsibilities. Develop initiatives and interventions that reduce psychological distress and enhance and promote psychological well-being. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, utilise methods and findings of psychology and psychological theory with clients to make positive changes to their lives. To develop and implement policies that will actively support Unit Managers and staff in the psychological support of their clients.
You will be a Psychology graduate and BPS member, and have at lease 2 years experience within a mental health environment.

A service in the London area are looking for a qualified Doctor to join their substance misuse service. A qualification is essential and having worked within a substance misuse service in the past would be of benefit.
On a day to day basis the successful candidate will be completing prescribing clinics in which they will assess and prescribe relevant substitute medication to a variety of drug users. They will also ensure legislation, standards and guidelines are being followed in accordance with agreed procedures. They will also assist individuals to identify their need for treatment programs and refer them into appropriate agencies. Part of the Causeway HSS Trust, the Hospital provides high quality services primarily for the population of the Causeway area, in a modern facility. In November 2002 a new urodynamic service was introduced for patients with bladder problems. As a result it is now possible to offer assessment and confirmation of bladder dysfunction, helping to speed up the diagnosis enabling the patient to be treated more quickly. There is also a state of the art Urology Table, which expands the range of procedures the Consultant Urologists can undertake.
The Domestic Services have achieved the Charter Mark Quality Award. The Coronary Care Unit already achieved this a number of years ago and are in the process of reaccreditation. The electronic materials management won Best Practice Award in Northern Ireland and Maternity services have won two quality awards. The Protected Elective Unit for Surgery has been very successful and they are continuing with this approach so that patients are guaranteed beds for surgery on a daily basis. They have also introduced a number of initiatives which enhance the quality of care to patients, such as the nurse-led telephone service to patients within 24 hours of surgery.
