Medacs Healthcare are currently looking for a multi skilled scrub nurse to work in a state of the art facility which provides high quality specialist treatments in 9 specialties for the people of Hampshire, including Southampton and surrounding areas.
The treatment centre deals with many common health needs such as hip and knee replacements, hernia repairs, gall bladder surgery, gynaecological problems and cataracts. The Treatment Centre only treats NHS patients and has an impressive track record in patient satisfaction, low infection rates and clinical success.
You will work under the Team Leader to provide peri-operative care appropriate to the individual surgical needs of the patient.
To apply you must :
· Be RN/ODP registered with NMC/HPC
· Hold a number of years experience within scrub
· Be responsible for accounting of all disposable and non-disposable instrumentation used for clinical procedures
· Ensure the safe positioning and transfer of patients within the department
· Provide leadership for junior members of the team in the absence of a team leader
